Today was a really weird day. You know in the movies when the girl says something doesn't feel right? Well, that is me. I sense something big on the horizon, but I don't know what. Maybe I'm getting bumped up to No. 3 diapers or my bunny Pete is about to take another vacation to the washing machine.
First off, Mommy didn't come in and feed me early in the morning. So, when I woke up at 5:45 and didn't see any food coming, I started talking to make sure Mommy didn't oversleep. She comes in and fed me, then put me back in bed like normal.
Then, when I woke up later for my pre-daycare bottle - Mommy was still home!! After a bit, she loaded me up and took me to daycare. It was awesome because Mommy is always at work and can't take me, so I got to show her around and everything. We saw my daycare crib, my artwork on the wall, I introduced her to my friends - all that stuff. It was great having Mommy around in the morning, but I really hope she wasn't fired.
Then, after a full day of care, Daddy picks me up like normal.
But when we got home, we went in my room and I noticed something was missing. Pretty much all my stuff. There were these boxes all over, and all my shelves were bare. Apparently Mommy and Daddy (and Grandma Sara) were playing a game called "packing". The basic plot is you put all your stuff in boxes.
I don't know why they couldn't play with their own stuff.
