So, as I mentioned, I took a roadie with Mommy and Daddy this weekend to see my cousin Kelly get married. It was awesome. Best time I have had in weeks. Here is the low-down I promised before leaving...
- the ride back to grandma and grandpa's hasn't gotten any shorter. I can't understand why it takes so long. It only takes 5 minutes to drive to daycare everyday.
- I know I had a little "pink" tirade about a week ago, but I did have a pink dress to wear to the wedding - and it looked REALLY good. I don't mean to be one of those "look at me" girls, but I gotta be real with ya.
- Apparently when you are the new girl, everybody wants a piece of you. It was cool, because I got to meet a lot of people in a short time. It can be taxing however, having the same conversation over and over. Yes I am a big girl... yes I don't have any hair... yes I have some leg and arm rolls... yes I will probably write about this. I tried to be as polite as I could, but I had to have a system worked out with Daddy. If I was ever trapped, I would just cry and he would come pick me up.
- I'm not as young as I used to be. I remember when I used to be up til 10 pm, then up again at 2, then up at 5 ready to start the day. Man, I must be getting old because that party wiped me out. I only had one bottle, and by 8:45 my lids were drooping. Next thing I know, I'm waking up in my carseat ready to go.
- You know how grandmas have that thing attatched to thier hands that flashes light at you? Well, apparently aunts, uncles and random stragers have them too. I felt bad for Kelly and Mark, because they had somebody flashing at them all night. However, sometimes they are WAY cooler than normal. Right before we were going to leave, I start seeing all these flashes. I just assume it is more of the same, but these flashes were way up high over the lake and all kinds of different colors. They were kinda loud, but way cool.
- I think Daddy tried to slip me some diet formula on the way home, because it was clearly two scoops (or less) of powder in at least 6 oz. of water. Gee I can understand how you would forget the proper ratio of powder to water, I mean you've only mixed about five bottles a day for the last five months.
