Cuttin' Class

Yesterday, when I was hanging out at the Children's Museum with Tommy, Tommy's Mommy told Daddy 'n me about a thing called the Polar Bears and Cubs group at the zoo. Basically, babies can get in early and see some animals up close. They tell you all about the animals too.

So, yeah, we were down. Had the first class this morning, and it was a good time. Well, the ZOO was a good time. The class was studying the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach this morning.

What's a girl gotta do to get a Giraffe around here? I mean, I just learned how to say it, right?

So anyway, when Madame Roach was going off on bugs, Tommy and I decided that there were much cooler and fluffier animals out in the zoo, so we ducked out early. Since the zoo wasn't technically open yet, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves, and it was awesome.

The animals were much more active in the morning, the Tigers were pacing and rowring, the Peacocks were all over the place showing their pretty feathers, the goats in the petting zoo were all over us, and the Monkeys were insane.

When we went to the Gorilla Village, they were so happy to see me that they kept running towards the glass, pounding it right in front of me and thumping their chests. It was the awesomest. The best part was when Daddy was sitting by the glass and he didn't see a gorilla come up behind him and he pounded the glass right by Daddy's head. I think he may have needed one of my diapers. I just laughed and laughed.

We're totally going back next Wednesday, and hopefully the teacher brings in some crappy animal so we can cut class again. But then again, if she brought a Lion in, that would be pretty cool, since I can say "lion" now.

Claire looks cute as always, ask her if she liked the baby goat for me. P.S. Sorry I haven't been writing. I've been really busy.
